Dr. B. S. Balla is an interdisciplinary transport researcher specialising in urban freight systems, mobility planning, infrastructure development, and data-driven modelling. He obtained his Ph.D. from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science Pilani, and received “Best Thesis Award” from Transportation Research Group of India. He served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Roma Tre University (Italy) and Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
